dear you,
Hello again. I’m so glad you’re still here! I didn’t think one month would go by so quickly. It feels kind of like a whole new world for me since last time. I’m still drinking tea, going on sushi dates with friends, and reading and writing with obsessive levels of focus. And yet…so much has happened!
Life updates (a brief list):
☆ I quit my job
☆ I went on a road trip
☆ I published PAPERBACKS of the Nymph Keepers (available on Amazon!)
☆ Said paperbacks were accepted into the library catalogue in my area ❤
☆ I started working on my next self-publishing project (ETA later this year)
☆ I played piano for a beautiful wedding ceremony
And if that first list item makes you wonder about my future plans, that makes two of us!
What I can say is that over the next couple weeks, I’ll be focusing on a draft of my next book to be published later this year (if all goes well), and then…well I guess we’ll just have to see. And in case you’re wondering, YES, the uncertainty DOES fill me with dread ❤ but I’m also hopeful for what may come next (and excited that I feel like I can WRITE again - more on that in another letter, perhaps!).
To round out this letter, may I present my Tea of the Month!
Upon request, I bring you my most enjoyed tea of the past month, Double Cream Earl Grey from Great Wall Tea Co.*
*Disclaimer: this is my favourite tea EVERY month (I drink it almost daily), so I’ll only mention it once. Next month, I solemnly swear to bring you something different.
And that’s this month’s little update! I hope to have a bit of a writing progress update for you next month. In the meantime, I wish you so, so well. I hope your tea (or coffee) is always just the right temperature, and that you find so much contentment in your life’s adventures thus far.
Write me back any time by replying to this email! And if you’d rather just read - enjoy!
yours, elise
